31 Posts Of Halloween: Cargo Movie Review

So I watched the Netflix film Cargo, staring Martin Freeman, and it was a pretty decent flick. Granted it has a few problems.

So the movie takes place in Australia, and is set sometime in the future, were Andy (Martin Freeman) and his and infant daughter are trying to survive some sort of zombie outbreak.
The acting in this film is phenomenal! I have recently been becoming a bigger fan of Martin Freeman, and I think that he is a very underrated actor and he deserves more attention. The rest of the cast act pretty believable for the most part as well.
The zombies are pretty interesting, as the infected have 48 hours before they turn. Also these zombie's move at a moderate pace.
The only real problem with this movie is the pacing. This movie is about 1 hour and 40 minutes long put it feels like it's double that.
If you are up for a zombie movie set in Australia and you like Martin Freeman, then I would suggest that you watch Cargo.

final score: 3.3/5

Coda Movie Review

Coda Movie Review This Deserved Best Picture So, I just got back from seeing Coda, and it was amazing! This was the second attempt to see this film as the first time, someone booked the entire theater for a private screening. I'm going to take from a summary from IMDB to summarize the plot: " As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) Ruby is the only hearing person in her deaf family. When the family's fishing business is threatened, Ruby finds herself torn between pursuing her passion at Berklee College of Music and her fear of abandoning her parents." The acting was  phenomenal, the  cinematography was beautiful, and the story was human. The way this film is crafted is nothing short but excellent. I will not that not everything is 100% accurate, but for narrative reasons, I understand the choices they made. The actors have amazing chemistry together. Everything feels natural between them and they all bring their characters to life. No per...
