Casablanca Movie Review

Casablanca, considered one of the best movies ever made, I have heard some say, but does it live up to the hype? For the most part, yes. This movie is very well acted, and I don't think there's a bad performance in this movie. All of the actors do a fine job at portraying their characters.  The movie takes place in 1941 in a town called Casablanca that's in I believe, Morocco. The movie follows Rick a nightclub owner as an old love comes into town. This old love is a gal named Ilsa, and turns out she's married! And running from the Nazis! This movie contains many one liners that have become famous throughout movie history. For example, "Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine." and, "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship." There are a few other one liners from this movie, but you will have to watch it yourself. The music score is done well. Not all of the songs are really that memorable, bu

Deadpool 2 Movie Review

Image Source So I just saw Deadpool 2, and it was pretty freaking good! Granted I think the first one was better, but this new deadpool movie is still worth a watch. This movie follows deadpool in his most deadpooly high jinks, and has a ton of comedy but it doesn't hit as hard as the first one, but it was still funny. The action in this movie is spot on, and it delivers perfectly. Deadpool is probably the funniest superhero that I have seen on the big screen ever. Ryan Reynolds is still the most perfect actor to play deadpool and I can't see anyone else replacing him ever. The rest of the cast does a great job as well. The character Cable is pretty good, and I liked Domino more than I thought I would. The music in this movie is so freaking cool. I love every aspect of it! There is one song towards the end that is just so perfect and hilarious, I can't mention it here, but you will know it when you hear it. If you liked the first deadpool movie, you will probably re

Pineapple Protein Shake Recipe

So most of the stuff I talk about on my blog is movie related, but if you have been following my  podcast  you know that I talk about my health and exercise a bit. So today I thought it would be pretty fun for me to share one of my protein shake recipes with you! I usually make this protein shake with almond milk, but I had the cashew milk already open, so all the pictures you see are made with cashew milk. I'll give Calories and macros for both though at the end of this post. I got all of my nutrition facts that I list from the My FitnessPal app. My FitnessPal does not endorse me in anyway, I just really like their app. So anyways onto the recipe! PINEAPPLE PROTEIN SHAKE RECIPE INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup pineapple 2/3 cup Friendly Farms Greek Nonfat yogurt  1 scoop GNC Pro Vanilla Protein powder  1 serving of silk unsweetened Cashew milk I'm using a ninja blender because it is so freaking amazing at blending, anyways put in your 1/2 cup pineapple. The

Beowulf Book Review

So I just finished reading the epic poem, Beowulf, and holy crap was that so freaking good!!! I'm usually not one for poetry, but damn! This poem has so much action and adventure it demands you attention. So this poem takes places a long time ago in a world far far away, in Northern Europe. So the Dane people build a great mead hall so they can basically party. There partying has annoyed a monster named Grendel. So, Grendel does the absolute most logical thing ever and decides to eat and kill many people in the mead hall while they are sleeping, so he won't have to hear them party anymore. So after a time of this continuing to happen, a group of Geats decided to come and help the Danes led none other by our hero Beowulf. Beowulf is just an all around cool guy. He slays monsters, he's super-duper strong, and his honor is so far off the charts you can't help but to just be impressed by just meeting this man. So Beowulf and his men make it to the hall of King Hrothgar (so

Sherlock Holmes 3 Announcement!!!

So I want to say first off that I am a big fan of the Sherlock Holmes movies and I find them to be incredibly fun. And I am so freaking thrilled that Warner Bros. announced that the third one will be coming out December 25th, 2020! Granted this does seem like a ways away, but I'm just happy that this film is finally happening!!!

While We're Young Movie Review

So the other night I saw the movie While We're Young, and I know this movie has been out for some time, and this is my second viewing, but I felt that I should review this movie. So the movie follows Josh (Ben Stiller) and his wife Cornelia (Naomi Watts) as they go through life being a bit indecisive. Josh has been working on a documentary for around ten years and everyone wants him to just finish this already, even if they don't come out and say it. The couple's lives change when they meet young hipsterish couple Jamie (Adam Driver) and Darby (Amanda Seyfried). This is an A24 film, and looking through there filmography, they have made a ton more movies than I thought they have. This is still a fairly new company but they have had a hand in other films like The Spectacular Now, Ex Machina, Room, The Witch , and The Disaster Artist . So in While We're Young, The color scheme of this movie is perfect and fits the film in a certain way that gives me a loss for words. T
