47 Meters Down is a 2017 shark film that was slightly better than I thought it would be, but it's still no masterpiece.
47 Meters Down follows two sisters on their trip in Mexico. They decide to go on a little voyage out to see to go into a shark cage, and then mayhem ensues.
The dialogue is not going to win any awards anytime soon, but the acting is passible enough that it makes the film watchable.
In their situation the sister make some really dumb decisions, and it can come off kinda like a B film at some parts.
One thing this movie does do right is that it know's how to build tension and do it effectively. The tension that the film builds is pretty much the only saving grace of the film.
Honestly I wouldn't recommend watching 47 Meters Down unless you are into shark films, otherwise it's probably best just to pass this one up.
final score: 2.6/5
