Why do people like Drake?

Can someone explain why people like this "rapper"

Alright unless you've been sleeping under a rock for the past year or two, you've heard of a Canadian Rapper called Drake. He's been blowing up the music charts for the past couple of years, and I don't really understand the appeal of this guy.

I would say that my musical tastes are somewhat broad, but I mostly like rock, and sometimes other styles that reinvent older music. Before you say, "Well guy, you just hate rap music you hater!" No, I will admit I don't like most rap music, but there are some songs I do like in the genre. Frankly I respect more of the rappers from the 80's and 90's more so, over most today. But this article is not about the state of rap, just Drake.

So, Drake... why? Just why? Why is this boring monotone so popular. His music makes me want to fall asleep of boredom. He has probably the most uninteresting voice out right now. How could people find this man interesting? He just seems so uninterested in the music he puts out.

Let me give you an example, for instance in his song that came out a little while ago, Nice For What, he doesn't even sound like he's raping. He just sounds like he's trying to speak and match a rhythm but he doesn't seem that interested. This song almost reminds me of another bad song that came out this year.

Sorry for rambling on, but I really just don't get it. It's honestly the darnedest thing, and a complete anomaly to me.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review This Was My Dad's Idea Well... I went and saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold today with my dad, and... the film was a lot funnier than it has any right to be. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a live action adaptation of the Dora tv show on Nickelodeon. Dora, now a teenager, is sent to the City to live with her cousin, Diego, while her parents go exploring for a lost City. When her parents go missing, Dora and her new friends go and search for her parents. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the movie wasn't half bad. There is a ton of tongue and cheek humor. There is some cringe to the Dora and the Lost City of Gold too, but remember, this is a movie made for kids. As a kids film, it does a fine job. The acting was fine, and for a kids film, everyone did alright. Isabela Moner, who played Dora, did a good job portraying the character from what I remember about the show when I was very young. Uncharted Movie Review

Uncharted Movie Review Not As Good As The Games I went and saw the movie Uncharted a while ago, and it was as I expected it to be. If you are a fan of the games, well... prepare for disappointment. Uncharted follows Nathan Drake (Tom Holland), a low level thief as he is recruited by Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to go on a treasure hunt. As someone who has played some of the games, but not all, I have to say that the Uncharted film is what I thought it would be. A mishmash of all four games but not committing to any of them. The acting is a bit stale, and the plot is predictable. The camera work was fine, but the music was underused. Tom Holland should not have been Nathan Drake. He lacks the charisma, the attitude, and the charm. He may have passed for a teenage Nathan Drake, but he should have only been in a few scenes.
