ReMastered: Devil At The Crossroads Movie Review

ReMastered: Devil At The Crossroads Movie Review A Good Musician Documentary  ReMastered: Devil At The Crossroads was a pretty good Netflix documentary about one of the greatest blues players of all time, Robert Johnson. The film traces the short life of Robert Johnson. What's interesting is it interviews his grandson, and at least one person who knew him. Among other musicians who were influenced by his music. I honestly thought this was a nice short documentary. It's under an hour long and you never feel the length of the film. There's a sense of mystery surrounding the man, the film held my interest and didn't let go.  What I found surprising about this movie, was it's use of animation. The visuals are well presented and make the myth and truth of Robert Johnson pop into your imagination. I found this to be quiet unique and enjoyed it greatly. The musicianship presented in the film is nothing but raw talent. Even the modern musicians who played a b

Hellboy Movie Review (2019)

Hellboy Movie Review This was terrible  I'm not even going to put pictures or anything up for this movie. I just saw it with my dad, and 5 seconds in, we both had the same thought, "Oh boy this is going to suck!" I would usually describe the plot in the second paragraph of a review, but not this one. I'm not really sure if a story existed for this movie. There was a plot, but it was probably written by an edgy 13 year old who's into gore films. Everything about this movie was terrible. If I was forced to say something nice about Hellboy, then it would be this, the walk out of the theater felt nice enough stretching my legs out. Don't see this, don't support the hacks who made this film, save your money and do something more productive with your life. There was not one single good thing about this movie. Not. One. Good. Thing. final score: 0/5

The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Season 2 Review

The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Season 2 Review Not As Good As Season 1 But Still Alright  If you haven't read my season 1 review of the Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina  Then you might want to check that out first. Anyways I just finished season 2/part 2 (I'm going to refer to it as season 2) a few days ago, and it was pretty good, but not as good as it could have been.  The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Season 2 picks up a little bit after Sabrina signed her name in the book. She has to manage going back and forth between her mortal friends, and her new life as a full witch. I really hoped this season was going to be good, and for the most part it was, but I don't think it lived up to it's full potential.  Kiernan Shipka  did a great job as Sabrina again. Honestly I think this actress will have some big titles in her future. She really does have some good acting chops. As for the rest of the cast, they all did pretty well. My problem is not with the act

The Sopranos Show Review

The Sopranos Show Review A Great Show About The Mob I finished watching the show, The Sopranos , a little while ago, and I must say it's pretty darn good. I can't believe I've missed out on watching it for so long! The Sopranos  follows the life of Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), a New Jersey Mob Boss. He struggles with maintaining his dominance, at his... "job"... and at home.  I'm surprised I wrote that summary so short, but anyways, it's simple but very good. The acting in the series is truly great. James Gandolfini, rest in peace , did a fantastic job as Tony Soprano. The rest of the cast did fantastic as well. There's to many characters to be recognized here, and if I did, it would take up most of this review giving recognition to the rest of the cast. I'm just going to keep it simple, I would like to thank each and every cast member who was involved in this fantastic show. Seriously guys, thank you. There's nothing fancy

Shazam! Movie Review

Shazam! Movie Review Cringey, Dark, Funny I just got back from seeing the movie Shazam! with a buddy of mine, and it was pretty good with some minor flaws. The movie follows Billy Batson (Asher Angel), a foster kid who keeps running away looking for his mom. When he moves into his new foster home, he befriends Freddy Freeman (Jack Dylan Grazer). Billy is chosen to become a champion and gain the powers of Shazam(Zachary Levi), thus becoming a superhero. Billy and Freddy go out and attempt to figure out Billy's new powers, but an evil looms shaking to take the powers of Shazam. Honestly, this is one of the better DC films out there, heck it might be their best one yet. I found the movie to be highly entertaining. The actors did a great job and the colors really popped within the movie. Zachary Levi kills it in this film! Asher Angel did a pretty good job as well, but I thought Jack Dylan Grazer was probably one of the best parts of the film. Granted there was some cringey l

Thunder Road Movie Review

Thunder Road Movie Review One Of The Best Films I've Seen In Years A bit ago I saw this masterpiece of a film, Thunder Road, written, directed, and starring Jim Cummings . Thunder Road follows a glimpse in the life of a cop, Officer Jim Arnaud (Jim Cummings) as his life starts to fall apart. His wife is divorcing him, his young daughter doesn't want anything to do with him, and his mother just died. He is forced to go through so much before he reaches his breaking point. Alright, I'm going to say it, Jim Cummings as Officer Jim Arnaud is one of the best acting performances I've seen in years. Thunder Road  delivers some of the best and most realistic acting and should be a mandatory watch for anyone wanting to go into acting. I can't praise Jim Cummings performance enough, the way he portrays his character is so realistic, Jim Arnaud seems just like a guy you could go and meet, and he'd be a real freaking person. You know how some actors aren't a
