IT Movie Review

So last night with some friends I went and saw the new film IT. I was surprised by how amazing the film was, and IT was truly amazing. The story follows a group of "loser" friends as they go through tragedy, coming of age things that happen in junior high, laughs, oh and a demonic clown that wants to eat them, they must overcome the trials of their youth while facing a deadly monster. And this story is done extremely well, and I am surprised how amazing it was. Okay so did child actors wakeup one day and suddenly decide to become just absolutely amazing? Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? Because really it really blows me away by how good the child actors are, I mean they're better than many adult actors! So I would like to say thank you for putting on a great show to Jaeden Lieberher playing Bill Denbrough, Jeremy Ray Taylor playing Ben Hanscom, Sophia Lillis playing Beverly Marsh, Finn Wolfhard playing Richie Tozier, Chosen Jacobs Mike Hanlon, Jack Dylan G

The Glass Castle Movie Review

So yesterday with a friend I went and saw the movie The Glass Castle. I have too tell you that this is a must see film! The movie is based on a true story that follows a young girl throughout her early life with her majorly dysfunctional family. The acting was top notch, Brie Larson plays Jeannette the main character in this story, and her father, Rex is played by Woody Harrelson. I have to applaud all the actors because they really did do a fantastic job. One thing that I thought that this film did really effectively was its lack of music in some scenes too create tension and drama that elevates the scene to new heights that could not have been done if it involved music. The color scheme of this film truly matches the tone that the filmmakers were trying to capture within the scenes that they are presenting. At the very least I do hope that this film gets nominated when award season comes around. And I do plan to rewatch this film sometime in the future, and I might buy it too! T

Little Evil Movie Review

So I just saw the movie Little Evil which you can see on Netflix. It's a very entertaining horror comedy, that you should probably watch at least once. Gary (played by Adam Scott) is a newly wed, and his new stepson who may or may not be the antichrist. I would like to say that Adam Scott is this movie, I can't see anyone else playing this character, Adam Scott is such a great actor. The lighting is done effectively that brings the film to a great level of entertainment, that shows the horror in an ironic sense of comedy. Unfortunately this is not a constant laugh out loud comedy, but you do get some good chuckles that are worth watching in this movie. The music is a little generic, but it's effective in the film. There are some attempts at heart to hearts between Gary and his stepson some fail and some work, but it works effectively with what they are trying to portray in the scene. Overall this film is really worth a watch, and it is very entertaining throughout,
