The Crimes Of Grindelwald Movie Review

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Movie Review

A decent sequel to the first Fantastic Beasts film

So, I just got back from seeing Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and it was a pretty good film, with a few flaws.
The Crimes of Grindelwald starts off as Grindelwald is supposed to be transferred from America to Britain for trial, but he ends up escaping. Three months later Newt is tasked by Dumbledore to go to Paris and figure out what Grindelwald is up to.
Alright, this is a pretty good movie, and if you are a fan of this overarching series, then you will enjoy this film. Are there problems in the movie? Yes. Though for the most part I did end up finding myself enjoying the film overall. The acting was pretty good, and the effects were good, but the movie did drag on in parts.
So the actors did a good job of portraying their characters. I do like the character Newt, and his... well, team. However I wish we got to see the characters interact more with each other and bond more, because though the characters do work well with each other, I don't really feel a strong connection with them.
The opening scene of the film is absolutely fantastic, and you get to see some really cool magical elements in it. This is where the effects come in, and I am overall happy with them. The magic is part of what draws us in, and I'm pleased to say when it's on screen, it delivers.
Now the film does feel like it runs on for a long time, and there are a couple of points that do drag in the movie. Some of the plot is poorly explained, and merely just glanced over, and this could lead to confusion for the casual viewer.
If you are a fan of the Wizarding World, then I think you will like this movie. It's not perfect but The Crimes of Grindelwald is still enjoyable.

final score: 3.3/5

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review This Was My Dad's Idea Well... I went and saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold today with my dad, and... the film was a lot funnier than it has any right to be. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a live action adaptation of the Dora tv show on Nickelodeon. Dora, now a teenager, is sent to the City to live with her cousin, Diego, while her parents go exploring for a lost City. When her parents go missing, Dora and her new friends go and search for her parents. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the movie wasn't half bad. There is a ton of tongue and cheek humor. There is some cringe to the Dora and the Lost City of Gold too, but remember, this is a movie made for kids. As a kids film, it does a fine job. The acting was fine, and for a kids film, everyone did alright. Isabela Moner, who played Dora, did a good job portraying the character from what I remember about the show when I was very young. What surprised...

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far The funniest show I've seen in years I've been watching a show on Netflix called Norsemen, and I swear this is the funniest show I've seen in years! I can't understate how funny this show can really be, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say about 90% of the jokes land. Norsemen starts off in 790 AD, and follows a few Vikings and their slaves. The show goes through their lives and their trials, but it's done with a comedic spin. If you haven't yet, watch the trailer above to get a better idea of the show. I will say this, this show reminds me of Monty Python ! Some of the jokes Norsemen  are gut busting, and will almost have you rolling on the floor laughing. In an age of bad comedies this show is gold.  I just started watching season 2 the other day, and I just want to keep watching. The episodes are about a half hour long each, and it's the perfect time frame to get the story across. I wouldn't c...
