Watchmen Spoiler Talk

I think that this is obvious but this is your last warning, this post contains spoilers for the 2009 film, watchmen!!!

First off if you haven't read my watchmen movie review I recommend that you do read it first before you keep going in this post.
Okay so wow the ending of this movie, am I right?!?! So, Dr. Manhattan kills Rorschach because Adrian convinced him that killing those people was for the common good and brought people together against a common enemy which would be Dr. Manhattan. Rorschach was going to tell everyone what Adrian and Dr. Manhattan did, so then he deserves to die according to Dr. Manhattan. But what they didn't see coming was that Rorschach kept a journal telling everything that happened and he gave it to the press before he did. I think it was a great move on Rorschaches part, because the two smartest beings couldn't figure out that he would do that. So, in a way that makes Rorschach the smartest character in the entire film, and I would say that he has one of the strongest moral compasses in the movie as well. Granted Rorschach is a little skewed in his morality and brutality, but nonetheless his ultimate goal is truth and justice. Which I just realized is something that is supposed to be the traits of Dr. Manhattan and Adrain, because they are initially presented as the good guys, while Rorschach is the dark hero. Wow! That is some pretty good writing in the subtext of the film! I'm somewhat impressed!
Anyways I just wanted to give some brief thoughts I had about this movie. Sorry if it seems just like a bunch of rambling, but I'm seriously writing this as just a stream of unedited consciousness at the moment.
This really is a great movie and I do recommend checking out Watchmen.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review This Was My Dad's Idea Well... I went and saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold today with my dad, and... the film was a lot funnier than it has any right to be. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a live action adaptation of the Dora tv show on Nickelodeon. Dora, now a teenager, is sent to the City to live with her cousin, Diego, while her parents go exploring for a lost City. When her parents go missing, Dora and her new friends go and search for her parents. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the movie wasn't half bad. There is a ton of tongue and cheek humor. There is some cringe to the Dora and the Lost City of Gold too, but remember, this is a movie made for kids. As a kids film, it does a fine job. The acting was fine, and for a kids film, everyone did alright. Isabela Moner, who played Dora, did a good job portraying the character from what I remember about the show when I was very young. What surprised...

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far The funniest show I've seen in years I've been watching a show on Netflix called Norsemen, and I swear this is the funniest show I've seen in years! I can't understate how funny this show can really be, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say about 90% of the jokes land. Norsemen starts off in 790 AD, and follows a few Vikings and their slaves. The show goes through their lives and their trials, but it's done with a comedic spin. If you haven't yet, watch the trailer above to get a better idea of the show. I will say this, this show reminds me of Monty Python ! Some of the jokes Norsemen  are gut busting, and will almost have you rolling on the floor laughing. In an age of bad comedies this show is gold.  I just started watching season 2 the other day, and I just want to keep watching. The episodes are about a half hour long each, and it's the perfect time frame to get the story across. I wouldn't c...
