Hotel Artemis Movie Review

So I saw the movie Hotel Artemis today and it was basically what I expected it to be, a straight forward action film.
There's nothing really groundbreaking in this movie, and I didn't really expect there to be. It's not a bad movie, but still it's one of those turn your brain off and enjoy kind of movies if you get my meaning.
The acting was fine in the film and there was no real bad performances. Everyone did well, but no one was outstanding.
The lighting was alright and fit nicely with the overall tone of the film. The music was alright but it did not leave an impression. The music wasn't bad, but it just didn't really catch my ear I guess. Actually now that I think about it I don't really remember much about the music at all.
In the end this is an alright film that is fine to watch in theaters, but beyond that I think I would only watch this if it was free on tv.

final score: 3.3/5

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review This Was My Dad's Idea Well... I went and saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold today with my dad, and... the film was a lot funnier than it has any right to be. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a live action adaptation of the Dora tv show on Nickelodeon. There is some cringe to the Dora and the Lost City of Gold too, but remember, this is a movie made for kids. As a kids film, it does a fine job. The acting was fine, and for a kids film, everyone did alright. Isabela Moner, who played Dora, did a good job portraying the character from what I remember about the show when I was very young. What surprised...
