Update: Sorry For Lack Of Posts

So, it's been about a month since I last made a post. I wanted to apologize for the lack of posts lately. September has been a busy month for me. There have been delays in my work projects and I've barely had any time to watch any movies.

Not to mention my local theater is still closed. So it's been a bit tricky to watch some movies. I do have some ideas for October posts. I'm not doing a 31 Posts of Halloween this year. When I did do it that one year it was pretty popular, so I might do it again sometime. With that said, I have some non-movie post ideas for October, but don't worry they're still related to film.

Be on the lookout for more posts coming in October. Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review This Was My Dad's Idea Well... I went and saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold today with my dad, and... the film was a lot funnier than it has any right to be. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a live action adaptation of the Dora tv show on Nickelodeon. Dora, now a teenager, is sent to the City to live with her cousin, Diego, while her parents go exploring for a lost City. When her parents go missing, Dora and her new friends go and search for her parents. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the movie wasn't half bad. There is a ton of tongue and cheek humor. There is some cringe to the Dora and the Lost City of Gold too, but remember, this is a movie made for kids. As a kids film, it does a fine job. The acting was fine, and for a kids film, everyone did alright. Isabela Moner, who played Dora, did a good job portraying the character from what I remember about the show when I was very young. Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far The funniest show I've seen in years I've been watching a show on Netflix called Norsemen, and I swear this is the funniest show I've seen in years! I can't understate how funny this show can really be, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say about 90% of the jokes land. Norsemen starts off in 790 AD, and follows a few Vikings and their slaves. The show goes through their lives and their trials, but it's done with a comedic spin. If you haven't yet, watch the trailer above to get a better idea of the show. I will say this, this show reminds me of Monty Python ! Some of the jokes Norsemen are gut busting, and will almost have you rolling on the floor laughing. In an age of bad comedies this show is gold.
