Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Movie Review (Rant)

So I saw Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom today with a couple of friends and it was a pretty freaking bad movie.
So the plot is simple (or it should be), the main characters have to save the dinosaurs from extinction from an island.
Okay, so this movie really sucks. I mean it's really really freaking bad. In the beginning of the film there is basically dinosaur peta, who want to save the dinosaurs for some freaking reason even though  if we save them there is a good chance a crap ton of people would die. The only reason mammals thrived was because the dinosaurs died out, and because of these idiots they could send us back in time and we would lose out.
There's a child actress in this film and she does a really bad job at, well... acting. There is a plot twist in the film related to this character later in the film, but the plot twist basically effects nothing in the actual freaking plot in the movie! She pretty much just runs around crying about everything and is super annoying.
There is this one bad guy introduced in the film pretty early on and you know this guy will be one of those "Surprise I'm a bad guy!" kind of characters from the very first millisecond that you see him. I know when I saw this character I looked at one of my friends and said, "He's an antagonist," because I was freaking right!
Most of the characters seem to make every intentional bad decision on purpose because they're probably stupid and want to wear it as a badge of pride.
Granted there are a couple cool shots in this "film" and the music is not bad, but that doesn't excuse poor acting, writing, and directing.
The dinosaur animation is alright at times, but it still does not even come close to comparing to the first films animation. I almost find this film insulting to call itself part of the Jurassic Park franchise. What a waste.
I was tempted to try to get a refund from this film, but I pushed through and ventured on. Please, for the love of God, save your money and DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

final score: 2/5

Uncharted Movie Review

Uncharted Movie Review Not As Good As The Games I went and saw the movie Uncharted a while ago, and it was as I expected it to be. If you are a fan of the games, well... prepare for disappointment. Uncharted follows Nathan Drake (Tom Holland), a low level thief as he is recruited by Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to go on a treasure hunt. As someone who has played some of the games, but not all, I have to say that the Uncharted film is what I thought it would be. A mishmash of all four games but not committing to any of them. The acting is a bit stale, and the plot is predictable. The camera work was fine, but the music was underused. Tom Holland should not have been Nathan Drake. He lacks the charisma, the attitude, and the charm. He may have passed for a teenage Nathan Drake, but he should have only been in a few scenes. I'm not the biggest fan of Tom Holland either long time readers may know. Now, onto Mark Wahlberg as Victor Sullivan. Mark Wahlberg is way too young to be playi...

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review This Was My Dad's Idea Well... I went and saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold today with my dad, and... the film was a lot funnier than it has any right to be. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a live action adaptation of the Dora tv show on Nickelodeon. Dora, now a teenager, is sent to the City to live with her cousin, Diego, while her parents go exploring for a lost City. When her parents go missing, Dora and her new friends go and search for her parents. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the movie wasn't half bad. There is a ton of tongue and cheek humor. There is some cringe to the Dora and the Lost City of Gold too, but remember, this is a movie made for kids. As a kids film, it does a fine job. The acting was fine, and for a kids film, everyone did alright. Isabela Moner, who played Dora, did a good job portraying the character from what I remember about the show when I was very young. What surprised...

Penny Dreadful City Of Angels Season 1 Episode 1 Review

Penny Dreadful City Of Angels Season 1 Episode 1 Review  Had To Think About This One A Bit If you haven't noticed, I'm a fan of Penny Dreadful . I did address my early thoughts on the new series a little while ago , and now that it's out, I thought I would give my thoughts on the first episode. For the description I'm going to quote IMDB , " Los Angeles, 1938. LAPD detective Tiago Vega and his partner, Lewis Michener, investigate a murder. While at City Hall, Tiago's activist brother Raul Vega battles with the fiery Councilman Charlton Townsend over the construction of California's first freeway. Meanwhile, Peter Craft, the head of the German-American Bun, meets Elsa, the mysterious mother of one of his patients. Sensing danger, Tiago's mother Maria pleads with Santa Muerte to protect her family as the rising tensions in the city threaten to explode." From what I've seen from other reviewers has been very mixed. And here's my two...
