King Arthur: Legend of the Sword Movie Review

I just saw King Arthur: Legend of the Sword a few hours ago with a friend. I must say, this movie surpassed my expectations.
The movie is directed by Guy Ritchie, and he know what he wants from this film. What we get is a extremely fun and exciting action adventure with some comedy thrown in.
James Herbert edited this film perfectly, the style he brings to the film creates a flow that is a true pleasure to the audience members.
The music score was done by Daniel Pemberton. The songs match perfectly with the scenes that they are set with, I'm considering purchasing some of the songs from the album. Many of the songs rely heavily on percussion instruments.
It had a clean color scheme that was pleasing.
The actors lines are over the top just enough to work, and it works well. Arthur is portrayed by Charlie Hunnam, he preforms the role well I couldn't see anyone else playing Arthur, Charlie was made for this role. The villain of this tale is played by Jude Law, who portrays the villain pretty well if I do say so myself. Unfortunately Merlin isn't really in this film, which it would have been nice to see more of him. There is a female mage portrayed by Astrid Berges-Frisbey, between her character and Arthur there is a slight romance teased as a subplot, but it is not brought forth within this fun film. Arthur's friends are pretty entertaining throughout this movie and they are some of the best side characters in the film.
Of corse you should not expect that this film is based strongly in source material, go in expecting a lose interpretation. I should state though, that this movie is basically a video game movie done right. Go in with these expectations and you shouldn't be let down.

finale score: 4/5

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review This Was My Dad's Idea Well... I went and saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold today with my dad, and... the film was a lot funnier than it has any right to be. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a live action adaptation of the Dora tv show on Nickelodeon. Dora, now a teenager, is sent to the City to live with her cousin, Diego, while her parents go exploring for a lost City. When her parents go missing, Dora and her new friends go and search for her parents. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the movie wasn't half bad. There is a ton of tongue and cheek humor. There is some cringe to the Dora and the Lost City of Gold too, but remember, this is a movie made for kids. As a kids film, it does a fine job. The acting was fine, and for a kids film, everyone did alright. Isabela Moner, who played Dora, did a good job portraying the character from what I remember about the show when I was very young. What surprised...

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far The funniest show I've seen in years I've been watching a show on Netflix called Norsemen, and I swear this is the funniest show I've seen in years! I can't understate how funny this show can really be, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say about 90% of the jokes land. Norsemen starts off in 790 AD, and follows a few Vikings and their slaves. The show goes through their lives and their trials, but it's done with a comedic spin. If you haven't yet, watch the trailer above to get a better idea of the show. I will say this, this show reminds me of Monty Python ! Some of the jokes Norsemen  are gut busting, and will almost have you rolling on the floor laughing. In an age of bad comedies this show is gold.  I just started watching season 2 the other day, and I just want to keep watching. The episodes are about a half hour long each, and it's the perfect time frame to get the story across. I wouldn't c...
