Justice League Dark: Apokolips War Movie Review This Film Is Brutal I saw Justice League Dark: Apokolips War the other night and I couldn't get this film out of my head this morning. I'm still thinking about it. This is a good movie, but be warned, it is very brutal. Justice League Dark: Apokolips War follows a large cast of characters of the DC universe as they fight Darkseid for the survival of the Earth. The movie mainly follows Superman ( Jerry O'Connell ), Constantine ( Matt Ryan ), and Raven ( Taissa Farmiga ), as they pick up the pieces and try to restore the world. I wasn't prepared for what I saw. The voice acting is great, the animation is fluid, the pacing is top notch, and the story is engaging. Justice League Dark: Apokolips War earns it's R rating and rightly so. I'm not the biggest fan of superhero movies, but this one makes me want to watch more.  I do want to note that Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is the conclusion to the DCAMU (DC Anima...

Joker Movie Review Overhyped But Good I just got out of seeing Joker, and it was pretty good. However, it is overhyped so prepare yourself cause this movie has been getting a lot of traction. Joker follows Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) as his life goes from bad to worse and into a descent into madness. Joaquin Phoenix gives a fantastic performance as Arthur in Joker. I could tell he was really getting into the role. The film did everything right on a technical level, however is a bit predictable. I can say, Joker is entertaining. First off, bravo Joaquin Phoenix. He really fits into this role and makes it his own. The Joker is a hard character to do right. We all know Heath Ledger's Joker is one of the best and hard to top, but Joaquin's Joker is on a different level. I think they are equally good, but they are good in different ways. Ledger's Joker is traditional perfected, but Joaquin's is a fantastic modern character study. My one complaint about Joke...

Hellboy Movie Review This was terrible  I'm not even going to put pictures or anything up for this movie. I just saw it with my dad, and 5 seconds in, we both had the same thought, "Oh boy this is going to suck!" I would usually describe the plot in the second paragraph of a review, but not this one. I'm not really sure if a story existed for this movie. There was a plot, but it was probably written by an edgy 13 year old who's into gore films. Everything about this movie was terrible. If I was forced to say something nice about Hellboy, then it would be this, the walk out of the theater felt nice enough stretching my legs out. Don't see this, don't support the hacks who made this film, save your money and do something more productive with your life. There was not one single good thing about this movie. Not. One. Good. Thing. final score: 0/5
