The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes Book Review

The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes Book Review A Solid Prequel I finished reading The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes, by Suzanne Collins, and it was a good prequel. The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes follows a young 18 year old Coriolanus Snow as his family has fallen on rough times in the Capitol. His once proud family has been reduced to near poverty while trying to keep up appearances. He still goes to a prestigious Academy for Capitol children, and for the 10th annual Hunger Games, Coriolanus is selected to be the mentor for the District 12 Girl Tribute, Lucy Gray. The war is still fresh in the minds of the citizens of Panem, and as Coriolanus seeks to raise his status in the Capitol, many challenges lay ahead. With the encouraging words, Snow lands on top he is hungry for victory. Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds ever be in your favor! I am a massive fan of this series. I've read the whole series, and the first book multiple times. I've seen every movie on t...

New Hunger Games Movie Announced

New Hunger Games Movie Announced Will be based on new unreleased Book So, I guess it's been made official , there will be another Hunger Games film coming out. This movie will follow the story line for the upcoming book, The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes. Longtime Hunger Games director, Francis Lawrence, will return to the Director chair for this installment. The author of the book series, Susan Collins seems like she'll be taking up a Producer roll. It's a bit unusual that (at the time this was written) the book hasn't been released yet. The studio must feel awful confident about the story and the franchise since it's been a few years since it wrapped. The basic story will follow President Snow in his younger years before he rose to power, during the 10th Hunger Games as he mentors a tribute from District 12. I am pretty excited about the book and movie, but I'm a little cautious going into this. I read The Hunger Game series in my younger teen year...

Apparently There's Going To Be Another Hunger Games Film & Book

Apparently There's Going To Be Another Hunger Games Film & Book There I was just scrolling through twitter like a good lad when something caught my attention, "Could it be?" I thought to myself. I clicked on the article  which laid before my very eyes and it was true, we are about to get another addition to The Hunger Games franchise! A little background with my love for the series, I grew up at the right time when this was popular. I read the books before the movies came out. I was an instant fan. The series introduced me to the post apocalyptic genre of literature. I have since gone on to read other books in the genre , but The Hunger Games will always hold a special place in my heart for introducing me to it. I was probably in sixth grade when I first picked up the book, I might be a year off, but it was around sixth grade.  Anyways when the movies came out, I was pumped! Though they do have their problems, and I'll be the first to admit they're ...
