L.A. Confidential Movie Review

L.A. Confidential is a 1997 crime drama that is very, very good.

So, the other day I saw L.A. Confidential and I was throughly impressed by this film. The actings is superb, the scenes are shot beautifully, and the story itself is highly engrossing.
L.A. Confidential follows three detectives that don't necessarily get along, but to solve a murder case, they must pull their talents together. Detective Jack Vincennes (Kevin Spacey) is the guy that likes to be in the limelight of things, he helps consult of tv shows. Detective Bud White (Russell Crowe) is the strong man of the three, and he has a certain affinity for protecting women. Then there is Detective Ed Exley (Guy Pearce) who is the straight shooter of the group and is the one that is most recently promoted to detective. Together, they discover things that they wish they didn't come across, but they know that they must  face them, head on.
Alright, every actor in this film has done an outstanding job, and I applaud each and every one of them. This movie truly had an all star cast, and boy do they deliver. Each main character is unique enough, but still there interactions are perfect.
I don't know if you've seen L.A. Confidential yet, but if you haven't, this is a must see film! If you have any liking towards crime films, then L.A. Confidential is a must see!

final score: 4/5

Coda Movie Review

Coda Movie Review This Deserved Best Picture So, I just got back from seeing Coda, and it was amazing! This was the second attempt to see this film as the first time, someone booked the entire theater for a private screening. I'm going to take from a summary from IMDB to summarize the plot: " As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) Ruby is the only hearing person in her deaf family. When the family's fishing business is threatened, Ruby finds herself torn between pursuing her passion at Berklee College of Music and her fear of abandoning her parents." The acting was  phenomenal, the  cinematography was beautiful, and the story was human. The way this film is crafted is nothing short but excellent. I will not that not everything is 100% accurate, but for narrative reasons, I understand the choices they made. The actors have amazing chemistry together. Everything feels natural between them and they all bring their characters to life. No per...
