Molly's Game Movie Review

So last night I saw Molly's Game, and I have to say that this is a pretty decent movie.
This movie follows Molly, a gal that runs a high-end poker game, and her rise and her fall. This movie is based on her real life, though I don't know how much is true and how much is fictionalized, but it was very interesting.
The acting is preformed very well. I don't think that there was really any bad performances in the entire movie.
The camera work was really well done and there were some interesting shots in the movie. The music perfectly fit the overall tone that the film was going for. The lighting set the mood effectively and it was consistent throughout the entire film.
The way that everything in the movie is portrayed is a little realistic, but you can defiantly tell that some parts were dramatized.
I don't have a tone to say about this movie, except that it was enjoyable enough and I would recommend going out and seeing it. I don't think that I would buy this movie, but if it was on tv, I would defiantly watch it.
Have you seen the movie? Let me know in the comments what you thought of it!

final score: 3.5/5

Coda Movie Review

Coda Movie Review This Deserved Best Picture So, I just got back from seeing Coda, and it was amazing! This was the second attempt to see this film as the first time, someone booked the entire theater for a private screening. I'm going to take from a summary from IMDB to summarize the plot: " As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) Ruby is the only hearing person in her deaf family. When the family's fishing business is threatened, Ruby finds herself torn between pursuing her passion at Berklee College of Music and her fear of abandoning her parents." The acting was  phenomenal, the  cinematography was beautiful, and the story was human. The way this film is crafted is nothing short but excellent. I will not that not everything is 100% accurate, but for narrative reasons, I understand the choices they made. The actors have amazing chemistry together. Everything feels natural between them and they all bring their characters to life. No per...
