The Quintessentialist

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far The funniest show I've seen in years I've been watching a show on Netflix called Norsemen, and I swear this is the funniest show I've seen in years! I can't understate how funny this show can really be, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say about 90% of the jokes land. Norsemen starts off in 790 AD, and follows a few Vikings and their slaves. The show goes through their lives and their trials, but it's done with a comedic spin. If you haven't yet, watch the trailer above to get a better idea of the show. I will say this, this show reminds me of Monty Python ! Some of the jokes Norsemen  are gut busting, and will almost have you rolling on the floor laughing. In an age of bad comedies this show is gold.  I just started watching season 2 the other day, and I just want to keep watching. The episodes are about a half hour long each, and it's the perfect time frame to get the story across. I wouldn't c...

So a few days ago I finished watching season 1 of the new Netflix show Mindhunter. I have to say that this show is pretty freaking good. The show takes place in the late 70's following two FBI agents that are trying to figure out the psychology of Serial Killers, by interviewing them. The two main characters agent Holden Ford (Johnathan Groff) and agent Bill Tench (Holt McCallany)  are very interesting characters and they work really well off of each other. Holden is the more optimistic character and Bill is a bit more pessimistic, but they play off of each well enough to compliment their work. The camera work is really well done in this series. The color scheme is fitting for the overall tone of the show, and it is very effective. The music is on the weaker side a bit, and this is something they should work on going forward, however I'm not saying that it's bad, it just needs a little more work to be done on it. Many of the secondary characters are very interesting, ev...

I have watched many shows, so I thought if your looking to watch something different that you might have missed you might want to watch these shows! And they all should be on Netflix but no guarantees! I will break it down by genre and do 3 shows per genre. SIT-COMS 1. Friends           If you haven't seen this one yet go and see it as soon as you can! This show follows 6 friends              that live in New York in the 90's to early 2k's, and the events that happen to them. Typically I get at least one laugh per episode, thats more than most sit-coms. 2. That '70s Show            That '70's Show takes place in Wisconsin in the 1970's following a group of friends and their parents in there adventure of growing up, from high school to college. 3. Malcolm in the Middle              This show follows Malcolm and his crazy family that always seem to get thems...
