Turn Washington's Spies Series Review A great historical drama that everyone should watch Turn Washington's Spies is a fantastic historical drama show that I have loved from episode one. The characters are great and the history is so interesting. The show starts at the beginning of the American Revolution, and it follows the life of Abraham Woodhull ( Jamie Bell ) during the war. Abe is a cabbage farmer that is down on his luck, and he resorts to the black market to sell his lot, there he runs into an old friend Caleb Brewster ( Daniel Henshall ), they trade, and on his way back Abe is captured by the Patriots. When he's being interrogated an old friend from his home town comes forth, Benjamin Tallmadge ( Seth Numrich ). Ben is an officer in the Continental Army, and recruits Abe as a spy. Abe returns home and enlists the help of his friend Anna Strong ( Heather Lind ) to act as the signal for their courier, who just so happens to be Caleb Brewster. Now acting as ...
