Heathers Movie Review

So I just finished watching the 80's cult classic, Heathers, and I have to say that I really enjoyed this black comedy. The movie follows a girl named Veronica (Winona Ryder) as her and her boyfriend J.D. (Christian Slater) plan on killing the popular kids in the school. Veronica was once a part of the popular kids, but after she begins to date J.D. that's when the plotting begins. I must note that this is a black comedy, and this movie is not suited for everyone. This new version looks like it will be crappy, and over the top. Now this is a comedy, but you can tell by watching the trailer, that they are going for the most lowbrow, simple, and uninspired writing that can get them a paycheck the quickest. In the new trailer, I swear I've heard the music that they played in it in about a million other comedy trailers. I think I might watch the old version, because it looks like it could actually be pretty good...
