When Did Child Actors Become Amazing?

Okay is this just me, or in the past few years child actors have started to become amazing?  Given between tv and film, we have Stranger Things, IT (2017), Logan (Laura, Logans daughter), and more to come I am sure. In the past though child actors had a bad reputation in film. We have all seen a movie with an annoying kid, and the kid actor was cast to be the annoying character. Which is kind of sad if you think about it. Sure there were some good child actors in the past, but it seems more recently that we have been getting better and better child actors. So why is this? I think that people are just getting tired of the annoying kid and they want to watch the adventurous kid instead. The kid that can act like an adult but yet remains childish. In a way it's almost like there's a balance that needs to be reached. So why haven't child actors been respected as much as they have now? I think it's because that the major studios viewed it as to risky. It is safer to play...

Why Fox's X-Men Franchise is the best Superhero Franchise

This is completely my own opinion and I am writing this in Nov. 2017 for future reference so I don't know how things will change in the years to come. Now that that's out of the way, on to the article! :) I want to start by saying that I'm not a big fan of superhero movies, but once and a while I do like to see one. I should address my thoughts on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe. So First off with the DCEU. I will admit that I liked Man of Steel, it's not great but it's not amazing, it's just something I would watch on tv if there was nothing else on. Batman vs Superman was a bit of a mess, there were a few good parts but it wasn't that good, though I did really like the opening to the film. Suicide Squad was entertaining but I think it was done wrong. WonderWoman was the best out of this franchise so far, and it was pretty good, but I think it had a weak ending. Overall the DCEU is alright, but a bit mindless fun that want'...

Logan Movie Review

I saw Logan when it came out on the first night and showing in my town. I was whisked away into an adventure that surpassed my expectations. The movie starts with a nice dramatic blue and orange color scheme, that becomes toned down but noticeable if you really look throughout the film. Hugh Jackman gives in my opinion one of the best performance's of his acting career, he has truly enveloped the character of Logan. Patrick Stewart gives a great performance as an aging Charles Xavier, he provides some depth to the world in the movie that is greatly appreciated. Then their is Dafne Keen, who plays Laura, most of you know by now (spoiler alert) that she is Logan's daughter. Laura is a complete badass! The action scenes with Logan and Laura are so thrilling, they leave you wanting more. The action you do see is at the level of badass that has been craved for in "superhero" films. I put superhero in quotes because this film doesn't feel like a superhero movie, it fe...
