Green Book Movie Review A Good Heartfelt Film So I saw the film Green Book a little bit ago, and I must say, I greatly enjoyed this movie. I'm glad that I saw it, and I think I would want to see it again. The movie follows an Italian man named Tony (Viggo Mortensen) as he is hired as a driver for an African-American pianist named Dr. Shirley (Mahershala Ali) as he is embarking on a concert tour through the south in the 1960s. I absolutely loved this movie. Green Book is one of those heartfelt films, and I'll admit, I'm a sucker for them. Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, both did a fantastic job acting in this film. They played off of each other so well, and seemed as if they have worked on a hundred films together in the past. Their character progression seems natural and fitting to how the characters are portrayed. They each have likable qualities, and they seem as if they were made to play the rolls portrayed.
