Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope all of you are doing well.

Some updates for you, I wish I could post more, but since Minnesota has been placed on lockdown again, I haven't been able to get to the theater as much as I wanted too. My laptop also crashed this month. I do most of my work off of there, so I hope by the time that this post comes out, my laptop will be fixed. I am fortunate enough to be able to write this post from someone I know's computer.

I have been reading a little more and I've been watching some more shows, so I might have some book reviews and tv show reviews coming out in December. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I don't want to leave you regulars in the dark as to why I'm not posting much this month.

On a more positive note, since it is Thanksgiving, I am looking forward to eating mashed potatoes! What foods are you guys looking forward to? I love the Holidays and let's take some normalcy where we can get it, especially this year.

I'm thankful for my family and my friends. Yeah yeah, I know it's cliche, but it's true. If there are any movies you guys are looking forward to in 2021, let me know and I'll try to get to it. Thanks for sticking with me throughout this madness.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold Movie Review This Was My Dad's Idea Well... I went and saw Dora and the Lost City of Gold today with my dad, and... the film was a lot funnier than it has any right to be. Dora and the Lost City of Gold is a live action adaptation of the Dora tv show on Nickelodeon. Dora, now a teenager, is sent to the City to live with her cousin, Diego, while her parents go exploring for a lost City. When her parents go missing, Dora and her new friends go and search for her parents. I can't believe I'm going to say this, but the movie wasn't half bad. There is a ton of tongue and cheek humor. There is some cringe to the Dora and the Lost City of Gold too, but remember, this is a movie made for kids. As a kids film, it does a fine job. The acting was fine, and for a kids film, everyone did alright. Isabela Moner, who played Dora, did a good job portraying the character from what I remember about the show when I was very young. Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far

Norsemen Netflix Show Review So Far The funniest show I've seen in years I've been watching a show on Netflix called Norsemen, and I swear this is the funniest show I've seen in years! I can't understate how funny this show can really be, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say about 90% of the jokes land. Norsemen starts off in 790 AD, and follows a few Vikings and their slaves. The show goes through their lives and their trials, but it's done with a comedic spin. If you haven't yet, watch the trailer above to get a better idea of the show. I will say this, this show reminds me of Monty Python ! Some of the jokes Norsemen are gut busting, and will almost have you rolling on the floor laughing. In an age of bad comedies this show is gold.
