It Chapter 2 Movie Review

It Chapter 2 Movie Review The First Was Better, But This Was Still Decent Well guys, I saw It Chapter 2 last night, and it was pretty good. I enjoyed It (2017) a lot more, but It Chapter 2 was pretty entertaining. It Chapter 2 takes up the story of the first film 27 years later. The clown is back, and the loser club have to come back together, to defeat the It, once and for all. I want to say, they picked an outstanding cast for this film. Bravo. The transitions were also really well done in the film. The pacing was a bit off though, and I wish there was more character development with the adult actors. But in the end, it was still entertaining. Starting off with the actors. Fantastic choices. I applaud the decisions made in this sphere. James McAvoy as Bill, Jessica Chalstain as Beverly, Bill Harder as Richie, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, Andy Bean as Stanley, and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise, I applaud this fantastic cast. I also wan...

Silent Film Week! It Movie Review

It Movie Review A Simple But Fun Silent Film It, is a 1927 silent film starring the original it girl, Clara Bow. The plot of the film is simple, yet it's still fun. It follows a young shopgirl named Betty Lou (Clara Bow) as she sparks a romance with her boss. Like I said, the plot is simple, but the movie is actually pretty good. This was the first Clara Bow film I've seen and I can see why she was one of the top actresses for her time. There is a bit of wit and charm to her character and she plays it well. I greatly enjoyed her acting, and after seeing this film I want to see some of her other films as well. I've heard her film Wings  is pretty good. I might even check out a collection of her work at some point. Honestly though, she was a a pretty good actress. For modern audiences though, the plot may seem a bit simple. Just remember the time period and how new film still was during this time.  The film is labeled as a Romantic Comedy. I didn't fin...

When Did Child Actors Become Amazing?

Okay is this just me, or in the past few years child actors have started to become amazing?  Given between tv and film, we have Stranger Things, IT (2017), Logan (Laura, Logans daughter), and more to come I am sure. In the past though child actors had a bad reputation in film. We have all seen a movie with an annoying kid, and the kid actor was cast to be the annoying character. Which is kind of sad if you think about it. Sure there were some good child actors in the past, but it seems more recently that we have been getting better and better child actors. So why is this? I think that people are just getting tired of the annoying kid and they want to watch the adventurous kid instead. The kid that can act like an adult but yet remains childish. In a way it's almost like there's a balance that needs to be reached. So why haven't child actors been respected as much as they have now? I think it's because that the major studios viewed it as to risky. It is safer to play...

IT Movie Review

So last night with some friends I went and saw the new film IT. I was surprised by how amazing the film was, and IT was truly amazing. The story follows a group of "loser" friends as they go through tragedy, coming of age things that happen in junior high, laughs, oh and a demonic clown that wants to eat them, they must overcome the trials of their youth while facing a deadly monster. And this story is done extremely well, and I am surprised how amazing it was. Okay so did child actors wakeup one day and suddenly decide to become just absolutely amazing? Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? Because really it really blows me away by how good the child actors are, I mean they're better than many adult actors! So I would like to say thank you for putting on a great show to Jaeden Lieberher playing Bill Denbrough, Jeremy Ray Taylor playing Ben Hanscom, Sophia Lillis playing Beverly Marsh, Finn Wolfhard playing Richie Tozier, Chosen Jacobs Mike Hanlon, Jack Dylan G...
